Module Description
The Rules module for Drupal 9 is still in its beta release stage. This means, among other things, that some features that were present in Drupal 7 Rules have not yet been ported to D9 and that some features that were ported still need significant work. Additionally, the internal structure of Drupal 9 is significantly different than Drupal 7 so there are many concepts that differ between the two releases. Notably, there is almost no documentation yet for Rules in D9.
This module means to change that.
The purpose of this module is to provide the missing pieces that currently make Rules difficult to use in D9. Specifically, this module:
* Ports missing features from D7
* Provides new features
* Provides a greatly enhanced Rules UI
and ... most importantly
* Documents, with extensive examples, how to use Rules in Drupal 9!
The documentation is written both for site builders (assumed to be non-programmers) and for programmers who want to provide Rules integration, port Rules integration from D7, or enhance Rules with new features.
